  In the Lower Elementary, we introduce the universe through the lens of the Holy Scripture, nurturing deep faith and gratitude for the Creator’s work. As students progress to the Upper Elementary, this foundation elegantly expands to integrate the science of evolution, Earth’s formation, and the laws of physics, perfectly unifying faith with critical scientific logic.

  Mornings at SJMES are purposefully designed to welcome the enthusiasm and vision children bring from home. We believe that every child arrives at school with a “spark” of curiosity and their own plans for exploration. Students in the Lower Elementary are guided through warm, personal encounters to reaffirm their community commitments, while Upper Elementary students transition seamlessly straight into their independent work areas.
